Developed  by  world-renowned  musculoskeletal,  and  human  movement  expert  Dr.  Andreo  Spina,  Functional  Range Conditioning  (FRC®),  is  a  system  of  joint  health,  and  mobility  training  based  in  scientific  principles  and  research.  Mobility refers to the amount of USABLE motion that one possesses across a particular articulation (joint). The more mobile a person is, the more they are able to maximize their movement potential safely, efficiently, and effectively.

Benefits of FRC:

- Improved mobility & flexibility

- Improved movement

- Stronger and healthier joints

- Improved balance and body control

- Improved athletic performance

- Decreased injury rates

In  FRC,  there  is  a  saying….MAKE  STUFF  WORK  NICE.  Hips  are  hips  and  shoulders  are shoulders. If they work nice, as in have full range of motion and rotational capacity, you have more  movement  options  and  can decrease  chance  of  injury.

Kinstretch® is a movement enhancement system that develops maximum body control, flexibility, and usable range of motion.

The Kinstretch system is one born out of scientific research. All of the movements and training techniques have been selected based on a meticulous and rigorous investigation of evidence, conducted by physical conditioning and medical experts, as it pertains to body control, injury prevention, joint health, and physical longevity.

Unlike many training systems, Kinstretch practice is complete with a self-assessment system allowing you the ability to monitor your own body for dysfunction that may be causing pain, loss of performance, or that may be putting you at an increased chance of injury.

WHY KINSTRETCH?

-IMPROVED MOVEMENT CAPACITY
-IMPROVED FLEXIBILITY, MOBILITY, AND A GILITY
-IMPROVED PHYSICAL PERFORMANCE
-IMPROVED BODY AWARENESS AND CONTROL
-INJURY PREVENTION/MITIGATION
-IMPROVED STRENGTH
-INCREASED NEUROLOGICAL FUNCTION
-IMPROVED RANGE OF MOTION
-WEIGHT LOSS
-INJURY MANAGEMENT

WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR FIRST KINSTRETCH CLASS:

EXPECT to develop a practice that is based on scientific research in mobility training.

EXPECT to use limited equipment- only small props such as mats, Kinstretch blocks and Kinstretch balls.

EXPECT to use and control your own body  throughout the class, meaning this class is based on internal effort (irradiation).

EXPECT to be introduced to FRC (Functional Range Conditioning) principals and terminology. Instructors may provide you with FRC terminology through their instruction, as it is based off of FRC principals.

EXPECT to be educated. Kinstretch is meant to enhance your life and help you get better at whatever you want to get better at. The more you show up, the more familiar you will be become with the concepts. The more you implement this practice into your lifestyle, the more effective the training will be/the more results you will see.

EXPECT a variety of students in the class. Kinstretch is not geared to a specific population; it is geared to humans in general. Expect a variety of ages, body types, athletes, teams, individuals with various occupations and fitness levels on a continuum.
